Ice Fishing Derby this weekend Tuesday, January 10, 2006 DEXTER - The Maine Ice Anglers Association will present this year's fishing derby on Lake Wassookeag in Dexter on Saturday, January 14th and Sunday, January 15th. Each day $75 cash prizes will be awarded to the participants who catch the largest fish. The following prizes will also be awarded: Largest Salmon, Togue Brook Trout, Bass or Pickerel - $50 Child (under age 12) who catches the most Perch - $40. Prizes have been donated by local merchants. Weigh-in will take place next to PJ's Bait Shop, located on Route 23, and the contest deadline is 4 PM. Tickets are available at PJ's Bait Shop on Route 23 (across from Big Lake Wassookeag) and from members of the Maine Ice Anglers Association.
