Last September my husband and I went HOME to Dexter and had the best time. It was great to get out of the city. We sat on my father's porch on the lake and just listened to the loons, watched the ducks, starred at the beautiful lake and surroundings, watched the sun and moon and stars. It was great!!! The best vaction ever thanks to my family and old friends from years past. Even went a high school football game! What memories. Enjoy every moment you can, don't take it for granted. Make sure you say hi to my family cause I only see them every few years and miss them a lot!

Hi Judy,
I took my granddaughter to the park in Dexter today and found it to be in a bad way. The second half with the towers is leaning more than ever, the fence is falling down. This isn't a very good sign. The tires are wearing out. The town should be thinking about repairing it before the town gets a lawsuit. I live in Dexter, pay taxes but get none of the benefits from my tax dollars. The one and only thing I use is this park and now it isn't very safe.

Hi;
Due to recent controversial guestbook signings, I edit many entries.
JCC encourages your thoughts, greetings and well wishes, etc., but the guestbook is not an open forum for grudges and/or "stupidity".
Also due to content of many websites submitted to the guestbook, we have deleted the area where you can insert your homepage or business web address.
Thanks for your understanding in these matters.

Hi, new neighbors of Dexter! My husband, Bob, and I are excited -- we just agreed to buy a piece of property just out of Dexter! We're retired, and our dream is to live full time in Maine. My maternal grandparents and great grandparents were from Maine, and somehow, I think Mom is smiling right now! (When I say "just" agreed, I mean 30 minutes ago we said, "we'll take it!" Can't wait to meet our new neighbors. We both love the cold -- ginger

Hello
I lived in Dexter many years ago and would like to find an old friend. We lost track of one another when I moved in 1944. Wondered if any of you remember Richard Campbell. Back in 1941-1943 he was about 16-18. I think he lived and worked on the Robinson farm next to the Briggs farm on Rt 23. Thank you for any lead or clue you might be able to share with me. Please feel free to e-mail me at anytime. I will look forward to hearing from you. Charlene
